Did you know the average adult should be sleeping between 7-9 hours a night? If you’re one of the 50-70 million US adults who have a sleep disorder, you might be reading this thinking, “How is that even possible?”
Many sleepless adults who have a hard time falling or staying asleep consider using THC for sleep but don’t know where to start, which is why we created ABX’s new Sleepy Time lineup that can help support a restful night of sleep. How? We formulate our potent, premium THC distillate cannabis oil with a supporting blend of terpenes designed to help you get your sleep on.
Terpenes are naturally occurring essential oils that emit flavor and aroma, primarily found in plants. They are also responsible for providing a wide range of different effects found in cannabis strains (it’s not just the THC in cannabis that promotes sleep!). Sleepy Time is formulated with a sleep-supporting blend including myrcene (also found in mangoes, hops, and basil), linalool (also found in lavender and coriander), and terpineol (also found in lilacs, pine, and eucalyptus).
Our popular Sleepy Time formulation is the same great product you know and love, and now it’s available in soft gels (in 5mg and 25mg THC), vape cartridges, and tinctures for a more personalized experience.
All three products have their own benefits due to onset time and the total time of effectiveness.
Drops or tinctures: Drops are taken orally and typically held in the mouth for 30 seconds before swallowing. For some people, effects can be felt within 15 minutes and usually last 1-4 hours.
Vape: Our CCELL vape cartridges and batteries are easy to use and our fastest-acting method of consumption. For some people, effects can typically be felt within a couple of minutes and usually last 1-2 hours. Great for beginners, you can take a small hit and see how you feel.
Soft Gels: Easy-to-consume gel capsules are ideal for precise dosing. For some people, effects can be felt within 1-2 hours and usually last 4-6 hours. Available in 5mg and 25mg soft gels to fit different tolerance needs. Orally ingested products, like our soft gels, tend to be longer lasting than inhaled products.
While all three applications have their individual benefits, you can also use them together to help get your sleep on. You might want to use the vape or drops to help you fall asleep and also take a soft gel to help you stay asleep. While we cannot offer medical advice, we recommend starting low and going slow.
